The 5412 ESSCS series is used indoors or outdoors where the enclosures may be subject to hosing or water coming from any direction and for protection against dust, dirt or oil splashing. Protection against corrosion.
Made of high quality 304 stainless steel, with continuously welded corner seams. The cover is secured by ¼ turn locks (or a 3 point lock mechanism on larger enclosures). A robotically poured-in-place seamless gasket ensures a durable seal. The enclosure has stainless steel hinges, with safety pins. Mounting holes are provided on the back face of the enclosure. The body's construction is designed to prevent dripping water from entering the enclosure. Exterior is unpainted with a #4 brushed finish. CSA Certified. UL Listed. NEMA 4X, 12. IEC 60529 IP66.
